1. Scope & Service Model

These On-Site Service Booking & Deposit Terms (“Booking Terms”) govern all bookings, initial deposit transactions, and scheduled physical site visits arranged through www.patiocleancover.com.

Our commercial operations provide specialized on-premises outdoor furniture maintenance arrangements, protective cover assessments, and shading setup consultations for residential and commercial properties.

2. Two-Step Booking Process & Scheduling Timeframes

To schedule an on-site service appointment, clients must complete our standardized two-step reservation workflow:

1. Deposit Payment: The customer submits an initial booking deposit through our online store to reserve administrative handling and technician allocation.
2. Booking Questionnaire Submission: Following initial deposit authorization, the customer must complete and submit our online booking detail form within 48 hours of deposit payment. This form collects essential site access details, preferred scheduling dates, and relevant property parameters.

3. Service Confirmation & Execution Timeline

• Administrative Review: Upon receipt of both the initial deposit and the completed booking form, our administrative team reviews the site requirements and confirms time-slot availability within 2 business days.
• Final Service Appointment: Confirmed service appointments are generally scheduled within 5 to 10 business days of initial form approval, subject to localized scheduling capacity and regional weather conditions.
• Binding Schedule: A booking is officially confirmed only when the customer receives a written Appointment Confirmation Email containing the agreed date, time window, and remaining balance details.

4. Deposit Conditions & Payment Terms

• Deposit Application: The initial booking deposit paid online serves as a partial advance payment toward the total estimated value of the requested on-site service.
• Remaining Balance Settlement: The remaining balance for the service must be settled either prior to or upon completion of the on-site visit, as specified in the Appointment Confirmation Email.
• Payment Authorization: All payments are processed via standard encrypted electronic payment channels. Customers confirm that they possess legal authorization to utilize the submitted payment card or account instrument.

5. Rescheduling, Cancellations & Refund Framework

In alignment with applicable consumer trading regulations in Canada and European territories:

1. Customer Rescheduling: Clients may request to reschedule an appointment by notifying us in writing at furniture@patiocleancover.com at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service time slot.
2. Customer Cancellation & Deposit Rules:
   • Full Refund Eligibility: If a written cancellation request is submitted within 14 days of deposit payment AND at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled physical site visit, the deposit will be refunded in full (reflecting European statutory cooling-off rights for service contracts prior to service execution).
   • Deposit Retention: If a cancellation is requested less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, or if our team is unable to gain physical entry to the site at the agreed time, the initial deposit may be retained by the business to offset administrative costs and dedicated scheduling allocations.
3. Company Amendments: If severe weather disruptions or unforeseen logistical constraints require us to alter an appointment, we will notify the customer promptly to arrange an alternative time slot without additional booking charges.

6. Property Access & Customer Responsibilities

To enable effective execution of the on-site visit, the customer is responsible for:

• Providing accurate property address information, access instructions, and contact details during the booking form stage.
• Ensuring safe, unimpeded physical access to the outdoor furniture or designated shading area at the agreed service time.
• Securing any necessary property permissions or residential access authorizations prior to the technician’s arrival.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Scope of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law in Canada and European jurisdictions, our liability for any claims arising from scheduled visits or services shall be limited to the monetary value of the deposit and fees actually received for the booking in question.
• Exclusion of Consequential Losses: We shall not be liable for indirect delays, scheduling inconvenience, or performance interruptions resulting from inaccurate booking details provided by the customer or events beyond our reasonable operational control.

8. Governing Law & Inquiries

These Booking Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without prejudice to mandatory statutory consumer protections provided under local laws in European territories.
